THE UPPER HOUSE IN HONG KONG UNVEILS ITS NEW ANDRÉ FU SUITE

Picture this: You coming home to a 1,960 sqft suite decked in a calming palette of mineral blue, dusty mink, and pale ivory. Upon entering the modern residence, your eyes light up delightfully at the artfully placed porcelain tableware and Mid-Century inspired furniture. You instantly recognise the space as a homage to André Fu, a prolific interior designer whose signature projects span The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, The Upper House in Hong Kong, and The Berkeley Hotel in London.

Relaxed luxury.

Recently unveiled at The Upper House, The André Fu Suite is a new private residence inspired by the enduring connection between the renowned designer and the hotel itself. As his only namesake suite in the world, the space boldly embodies Fu’s design philosophy of “relaxed luxury” and offers an intimate look into his personal journey with the hotel that kickstarted his career.

A fitting testament to his ability to bring a calm simplicity into interior spaces, the suite features furnishings, decorative lighting, and home accessories handpicked from the André Fu Living Collection. There’s a sculptural ottoman, refined tableware garnished with artisan brush gliding, as well as original concept hand-sketches of the hotel and books from Fu’s personal library.

The dining space, designed for socialising.

Formerly a two-bedroom Penthouse, the reimagined suite now features a dining table in the second bedroom and a dedicated spa area in the guest bathroom. Offering guests the feeling of home through equal measures of relaxation and socialisation, the space is at once elegant and cozy. Kristina Snaith-Lense, general manager of The Upper House and Pacific Place Apartments, said: ““It is only natural and a delight that we continue to work with André after all these years, incorporating elements of his brand’s sensibilities whilst maintaining the DNA of our House.”

For the ultimate stay, guests can book the suite from HK$60,000 per night inclusive of daily champagne breakfast and a 90-minute wellness treatment for two in-room. Other perks include round-trip transfers with House car and a gift from the André Fu Living collection. The arrival experience on Level 4 of The Upper House has also been transformed to feel like a living room with a welcoming sense of intimacy.
