SINGAPORE COCKTAIL FESTIVAL 2020 TO KICK OFF IN NOVEMBER

Cocktail connoisseurs and casual drinkers have something to celebrate: Singapore’s highly anticipated Cocktail Festival has announced new dates, along with a fresh new programme. Formerly scheduled to take place from 23 to 30 October, the event will now kick off on November 1, spanning a two-month-long event until the end of December.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, SGCF will bid farewell to the Festival Village—previously a three-day event hosting some of the World’s and Asia’s Best Bars for pop-up-bars and masterclasses. In its place is a well-curated programme that will offer interactive and educational cocktail experiences both in the city and at home. Participants can also expect to meet cocktail maestros from around the world, albeit virtually.

For the month of November, top cocktail bars in the city-state will serve a signature cocktail inspired by the neighbourhood they’re in. Guests can register for a complimentary Festival wristband on the SGCF site to enjoy these cocktails from $18 (U.P. $25). Prefer hosting a house party for your closest buddies? Limited production bottled cocktails will be available for purchase on the Festival’s online store.

In December, SGCF will partner with PROMPERÚ, the export and tourism agency for Peru, to feature the country’s most popular spirit, pisco, in special cocktails at various bars. Meanwhile, dream of your next getaway by savouring bottled cocktails created by five of the best bars from around the world, along with cocktail masterclasses by guest bartenders online.
