Shopee, one of Southeast Asia’s most popular e-commerce sites for well-priced beauty, fashion, and electronic goods, has announced plans to go upscale. Come October 4, the shopping platform will officially launch Shopee Premium—a new online destination for designer brands and luxury goods, across Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

The latest to jump onto the premium bandwagon, soon after Amazon unveiled its luxury shopping platform, Shopee is primed to seize a share of the region’s growing luxury market. Currently, the site’s offerings are lean, with brands like Furla, Tommy Hilfigerm and Calvin Klein, alongside high-end beauty brands like Laneige, Sulwhasoo, and Paula’s Choice taking centerstage. However, upcoming brands will include Dyson, Elizabeth Arden, Foreo, Biotherm, Love Moschino, Jurlique, and more.

Aside from a 100 percent authenticity guarantee, the site will also offer free shipping and 15 days return on all products.

Happening as part of Shopee’s 10.10 Brands Festival event, the launch of Shopee Premium will see exciting flash sales and exclusive promotions from the app’s partners. Other highlights include features like Shopee Live, a livestreaming tool that rewards watches with virtual “Shopee Coins” and vouchers, as well as Shopee Games, featuring in-app mobile games.
