Paradise awaits as travelers eye their next getaway to the Maldives, which has recently reopened its borders for international travel—sans COVID-19 tests, additional fees, or new visa requirements. One of the hospitality giants poised to receive guests is Marriott International, whose brands like W Hotels, JW Marriott, and The Westin have properties on the scenic atolls.

Guest can expect to stay at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, W Maldives, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, and JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa from October 1 onwards, and The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort starting November 1.

With more than 1,000 islands spread across 26 atolls, the island nation boasts a unique “one-island-one-resort” concept, which allows for social distancing to be maintained. To reassure guests, the five Marriott resorts will upkeep high standards of cleanliness as well as hygiene protocols.
