Live streams, complete with engaging hosts, fun games, and attractive deals, are the latest trend to drive e-commerce sales—now that we’re all staying home a lot more. Online travel agency Trip.com is no stranger to this and they’ve got an upcoming session on September 10 at 8:30 p.m. Singapore time, featuring hotel deals across destinations such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Hosted on Trip.com’s Singapore Facebook page by local celebrities Vigi Leong and Edmun Weng, as well as travel blogger Keith Yuen of Travel Inspiration 360, the hour-long live stream will include staycation deals within the city-state such as Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, Mandarin Orchard Singapore, and Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa, as well as up to 53 percent off hotel bookings at Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa in the Philippines, DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Penang in Malaysia, and Citadines Namba Osaka in Japan.
