In a smart move that aligns with the current trend of telecommuting, The Ascott Limited (Ascott) has launched a “Work In Residence” initiative that will see some of its serviced apartments—such as Ascott The Residence, Citadines, and lyf, transformed into work spaces worldwide.
A well-furnished alternative to co-working spaces or one’s home, these 60 participating properties offer “spacious, conducive, and self-contained” work suites across 30 cities and 10 countries. Guests can easily book these work suites online and check into a productive day or two of work with minimal disruptions, that will enable them to “stay productive and connected.”

Currently, daily, weekly, and monthly packages are available, and depending on the length of stay and location, the suites come with dedicated workstations, regular housekeeping, complimentary coffee and tea, as well as complimentary parking at selected residences. Great for project groups, the Singapore-based company also offers larger apartments with separate living and dining areas, kitchen, and individual bedrooms.
Within each work suite are essentials like high-speed WiFi, webcam for videoconferencing calls, Bluetooth speakers with microphones on demand, wide-screen monitors, wireless charging stands, USB charging ports, as well as stationery kits.
To ensure guest comfort, Ascott also offers services including food delivery, grocery shopping, printing, and the option to book-a-chef for in-room dining.
