Back in April, luxury travel company andBeyond teamed up with wildlife broadcasting experts WildEarth to stream twice-daily, personalised game drives. Erstwhile travellers were able to immerse themselves in live tours of South African game reserves andBeyond Ngala Private Game Reserve—which shares unfenced borders with the famed Kruger National Park, as well as Djuma Private Game Reserve, a part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
Building on the success of these live streams, the conservation-led company has now extended its range of virtual travel expriences to help fund conservation initiatives at their reserves.

Encouraging travellers to fuel their love for wanderlust, they’ve launched andBeyond Connect—a collection of virtual travel experiences for guests to enjoy from the comfort of their homes.
There’s andBeyond TV, which will continue to stream daily live safari drives, alongside the new WILDchild TV: Becoming a Ranger series, which offers entertaining yet educational activities for children to follow. In addition, parents can book live Q&A sessions, which will give their little ones the opportunity to chat with the rangers and take up fun home-based “missions” to challenge their curious minds.
To cultivate meaningful connections with travellers, they’ve also launched virtual experiences including a private Zoom session with a guide where wildlife enthusiasts and their friends (up to five) will be able to learn more about the animals seen on the live streamed drives.
10 percent of these virtual sessions’ fees will go towards Africa Foundation—andBeyond’s community development partner of choice, while the remainder is split between funding essential habitat maintenance, sustainability and conservation initiatives at the reserves, as well as the andBeyond guides.

Other experiences to look forward to include Q&A slots on the Protect Our Planet series, which are hosted by conservation experts, as well as live cooking and cocktail demonstrations, and yoga and meditation sessions.
To keep the joy of travel-related conversations alive, andBeyond will also offer Fireside Chats with experts about topics from wildlife conservation to design and photography via Apple, Google Play, and other podcast streaming services.
Finally, travellers can stay in the loop of things via Bateleur, a digital travel magazine that curates experientially narrated tales for armchair travellers.
