Located on the same lush grounds as Laguna National Golf & Country Club, the five–star resort is the first in the Lion City to offer direct access to two champion golf courses. Now, the newly minted Devarana Wellness spa looks set to be a relaxing oasis for golfers and non-golfers alike, with a sprawling array of signature wellness treatments.
Touted as Singapore’s latest luxury Thai spa, Devarana Wellness is inspired by the concept of the garden in heaven. Guests are ushered into contemporary Thai-inspired rooms for a variety of rejuvenating massages, facials, as well as beauty treatments. Highlights include the two-hour Singaporean Delightful Journey, which comes with a freshly-made body scrub inspired by the local dessert chendol, followed by a deep tissue massage to relieve tension. Spa-goers can also look forward to the Devarana Signature Massage, a 90-minute treatment that blends Thai techniques with Ayurveda and Shiatsu, while incorporating Swedish massage and aromatherapy techniques.
Designed for golfers, the Golf Performance Massage, a rhythmic oil-free massage featuring passive stretching and acupressure, is said to help to repair muscles and rejuvenate the skin. The full experience also includes a yoga massage, an aloe-and-mint gel face mask, as well as a calming black-tea and herbal bath.
Another signature treatment is the Heavenly Nantha Garden Experience, a decadent two-and-half-hours spa session inspired by the divine Nantha Garden—derived from the work of ancient Thai literature called Tribhumphraruang. Fresh tropical leaves and blooms grown locally are combined with aromatic blends of ylang ylang to create a soothing experience. Open round-the-clock, the fitness center is well stocked with fitness equipment from Torque and Life Fitness, as well as commonly used items like gym balls and conditioning ropes.
