THIS LUXURY MALDIVES RESORT IS OFFERING UNLIMITED STAYS FOR (ALMOST) AN ENTIRE YEAR

Seeking an escapade until the COVID-19 vaccine is found? US$30,000—inclusive of taxes and service charges, is all you’ll need to fork out in order to enjoy a whole year’s stay at Anantara Veli Maldives Resort. Located on the South Malé Atoll, the adults-only luxury resort is rolling out what it aptly calls the “Unlimited Stays in Paradise” package.

Designed for ultimate flexibility, the long-stay offer will allow guests to stay on its property for almost the entire duration of 2021, letting them come and go as they please. Fitting of its lavish price tag, the package will include accommodation for two in an overwater bungalow, daily breakfast, as well as shared return transfers between the resort and Male on an unlimited basis. For a spot of pampering, guests can also book dining and spa treatments at a 25 percent discount.

Even if you’re eyeing the package as a work-from-home alternative, know that there’s also plenty of recreational activities to keep one well-occupied—from a 24-hour gym, to pool access, regular yoga classes, and water sports to enjoy.

A statement from the hotel elaborates: “Return to your Maldivian Over Water Bungalow as often as you please and soak up the turquoise lagoon, magical sunsets, and the tropical beauty. Laze on your sun deck as colourful fish swim in the crystal-clear waters below. Elevate working from home to a new level, or up the stakes and escape to sunnier climates to enjoy some R&R whenever the fancy takes.”

Valid for stays between January 1 to December 23, 2021, the deal comes down to just US$84 per night for 357 days. Sounds like paradise to us.
