This November, Sydneysiders have something delicious to look forward to. Bon Fromage, a massive French cheese festival, will make its return from November 21 to 29, featuring masterclasses, gourmet tasting packs, and beverages.
The best part of all? Participants can order gourmet cheese packs filled with half a kilo of cheese for free—the only cost they’ll need to pay is a flat-shipping fee of $20. Each of these packages come with half a kilo of cheese that’s crafted in France, a recipe book in case you’d like to recreate something for your next dinner party, as well as cheese tasting notes to help you figure out if the cheese you’re enjoying is sharp, fruity, or nutty.
Plus, each pack includes access to entertaining masterclasses hosted by award-winning French cheese expert, François Robin. Like most events in 2020, this weeklong festival will run virtually under the helm of the Centre National Interprofessionel de l’Economie Laitière—the French cheese pros, to be exact.
Masterclasses range from the educational, such as learning about the history, craft, and terroir of French cheeses, to the yummy, like making elevated cheese snacks. Just want to hang out? There’s also a Friday night session for participants to simply enjoy their cheese and drinks.
