International travel might be discouraged at the moment, but if you do have to fly to Hong Kong for work or personal reasons—Ovolo Hotels promises to make your compulsory quarantine experience much easier to bear.
The luxury boutique hotel group has launched its quarantine concierge service, which aims to welcome travelers with a supportive yet fun staycation that’s dedicated to one’s health and wellness. Avaiable at both Ovolo Southside and Ovolo Central, the service is available throughout one’s two-week stay and includes perks such as HK$1000 in F&B credits, unlimited entertainment, wellness kits, complimentary breakfast, and more.

Girish Jhunjhnuwala, CEO of Ovolo Hotels says: “We always try to look on the bright side at Ovolo Hotels. If I had to quarantine, this is how I would want to do it. It’s important to start each day with a fix of barista coffee and of course end the day with my favourite Negroni bought to my room during happy hour. As always, we are devoted to ensuring that Ovolo Hotels are as clean as possible with our new OC/DC cleaning and hygiene standards.”
To help time fly by, entertainment will be provided in the form of unlimited premium Wi-Fi, access to Apple TV and Alexa. Each morning, a barista-made coffee on the house will be provided to kickstart one’s work day.
With health at the forefront of everybody’s minds, each room will also be decked out with fitness gear including a yoga mat, gliders, and resistance bands for travelers to upkeep their fitness regimes. Meanwhile, there’s also a daily step challenge—anyone who takes more than 10,000 steps within their room will enjoy a complimentary cold-pressed juice.

Aside from physical wellness, guests will also have access to a Mindfulness Kit that comes with adult colouring books, brain teasers, and playing cards to keep their minds happy and active. In addition, plants will be brought into the rooms so that guests can feast their eyes on the lush greenery even while staying indoors.
To satiate appetites, guests will be treated to the hotel’s signature Loot bag, which is replenished daily with snacks and drinks. Happy Hour will also be brought to the comfort of their rooms with freshly made tipples throughout their stay, While nutritious breakfast sets will be delivered to the door each morning, guests have the option of ordering in room service such as the hotel’s famed aloo gobi (vegetarian Indian curry) from Veda restaurant.
Should guests need anything more, the hotel’s on-call quarantine concierge will be available around-the-clock to help deliver food and daily essentials.
