Bali, the paradisiacal Indonesian island loved for its pristine beaches and sprawling sea-facing resorts, will be reopening its international borders on September 11 this year after months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Luxury-loving travelers have plenty to look forward to, including the newly opened Raffles Bali. Located in the idyllic Jimbaran Bay, the property is home to just 32 villas set on a private beach and surrounded by lush gardens. Designed for exclusivity, the resort hopes to attract travellers seeking tranquility and privacy.

Inside each villa its a full-sized pool on a private terrace overlooking the bay, as well as a private bathroom featuring an ocean-facing soaking tub, While it might be tempting to stay in all day and order in-room dining, the resort has six dining outlets, including classic Balinese restaurant Rumari, and beach bar and grill Loloan. Other fun experiences include cooking classes at The Farm Terrace and an intimate dining establishment called The Secret Cave, which serves customized menus for special occassions.
True to its Raffles brand, the resort will also have a Writers Bar, as well as a Raffles Wellbeing Spa. The latter celebrates local wellness rituals and healing treatments with a full-fledge menu of spa experiences.
